When a TCG/CCG makes a transition from cardboard to a videogame, it becomes a "strategy" or "strategy/RPG," (depending on how the developers decide to carry it over) because there is no "TCG/CCG" genre in the videogame world, so they have to call it something else. And since card games are strategy games, the name is perfectly suitable. So it can be said that PSO Episode III is a TCG/CCG in videogame form (a.k.a "strategy" or "strategy/RPG." ) The difference here is that PSO Ep. III wasn't originally a TCG/CCG, but rather, it started off as what it would've been if it had been a transition from a card game. I think this what people are trying to say when they refer to it as a card game; not that PSO Episode III is a "card game," but rather that it resembles what a card game might become if it were to make a transition from cardboard to a videogame.<p>[Edit by Mizehrith on [TIME]1106544812[/TIME]]
