PSO Plus delayed

Postby OnnaWren » Mon Aug 23, 2004 4:16 pm

I know not everyone has the greatest faith in US release dates (especially when they slip and slide around so much), but I have to be somewhat optimistic about something...
Besides, while (some of) the info about the game is wrong on the site, the ship date(s) is/are set by Sega themselves.

Now THAT offends me... -_-;
Especially since I went and got DC V2 (like a moron), the Saturn PS Collection (like a moron), and am about to get Plus anyway (like a friggin' moron).
Really, I thought that your opinion of me was a little higher than that...
[Edit by OnnaWren on [TIME]1093279116[/TIME]]

I would simply say buy it if your offline don't if your online, all it really has to offer are some online quests offline so theirs no real point in buying it if your online unless you want the hack guard and the new area, other then that i say buy it if you want it thats as simply put as it can be :) No one can say your wrong because you want a game, if you want it buy it :D

[Edit by Etra McGarl on [TIME]1093291131[/TIME]]

Benoit said so many times...I feel like OnnaWren.
Some of us are collectors and some of us simply like that version. We perfectly know what Plus offers, to buy it or not it's only our decision...we can spend our money as we like and you have no right to call us morons.
We never tried to convince Benoit to buy it...so why such a behaviur against plus lovers?

I am for its purchase, because:
1. Not liking ep. 3 has forced me to need something else.
2. Not only will finding a Broadband be a challenge, but I wouldn't be able to find enough time to play online, in order to get my "moneys worth".
3. I really enjoyed the challenge of the Towers, plus fighting some new enemies.
These seem like logical reasons.

Especially since I went and got DC V2 (like a moron), the Saturn PS Collection (like a moron), and am about to get Plus anyway (like a friggin' moron).

I thought I already went over this.
PSO Ver.2 was worth the buy (I bought it too) because it had so many new stuff. New weapons, new difficulty mode with half-new areas and half-new monsters, LV 200, higher level spells, Challenge Mode, Battle Mode, Lobby Soccer, some additional plot details, an extra Rico ending, and I may forget some.
That is worth $50.
About Phantasy Star Collection, we both know that it's a collection item. No questions asked.
Then we have PSO Plus, a game that offers... what, three new quests? That you will play for a couple of weeks and then go on? I sure know that I haven't been busy that long with them.
Additionally, these are quests that are already available online, so it's not new. Furthermore, you already are online, so buying PSO Plus would be buying the exact same game all over again.
This is NOT worth your hard-earned $30.

IMO, there are far worse ways to spend $30... besides, I've been informed that my BB connection will go "poof" when I'm forced to move at the end of the month. AGAIN.
Que sera...
...
maybe i'm just not destined to be happy...

[Edit by OnnaWren on [TIME]1093303076[/TIME]]

But would it be worth getting, aside from the new offline quests and the bugs they fixed, it is preety much the same, no?
What of PSU? I mean, wouldnt it be better just to save your money and wait for this one to come out?
And why doesnt ST release more quests, replayable quests mind you, for Eps 1&2 and 3? Or more croosover quests between 1&2 and 3?

I wish I knew, I was expecting lots of download quests after them having the game out for two years. I was puzzled.

Then we have PSO Plus, a game that offers... what, three new quests? I have more hours than posts! If I can do that with what I have, then Plus could get me a few hundred more.
PS: Wowzers! Neo broke 850 hours! ~0

I'm sorry I offended you, OnnaWren. That was not my intention.
Moving at the end of the month? Even more reason to play all we can now!
All my PSO hours together would add up to almost 2000. :D

I know deep down that it wasn't, but with all the stresses currently present in my life, well... *shrug*
It's in the past now.
...
Too bad I can't let go of every transgression so easily... >_<;
