What do you think the PS4 remake characters will look like??

I would like to see more evened-out proportions myself. I absolutely love the style of PSIV's old character art because of nostalgia value ( and it's not nearly as exaggerated as some of the new anime stuff that's out there.. X_x;) but I am eager to see what happens, out of sheer curiosity. The chest sizes of the men in PSIV are insane o_O, especially with those itty bitty waists!<p>The only thing I distinctly don't like about the newer art, specifically from II is the greasy, limp, wet-looking hairstyles with jagged edges everyone seems to have... That, and the numan ears...<p>Rune, IMO, should be a bit roguish, not so much pretty... I don't want to see a willowy, frail thing either. XD<p>GRar... *sits on her hands in waiting*<p>I've been thinking of doing some "remakes" myself, just to see what happens. I haven't done PS characters in my own style (that is, not trying to emulate the originals) yet... it might prove for an interesting time... and at the ame time, move me along with the art for my fanproject. XD

It's obvious that these remakes are being made to fit together and have a more seamless progression from one another. This makes me happy because I really like the charachter design and style being used in the remakes. <p><blockquote>It will be weird, because the original PS4 art is of a classical anime type, and the actual art looks very different, more serious perharps. I like this new art style that started with PSo and follow the same basic lines on the remakes, but it will be just weird to see it. </blockquote> <p>The characters in PSIV (to me) looked way too cartooney or bubbly... not serious at all. And while these new designs are definitely colorful, I feel they retain a serious and much more mature feel to them. That being said, I have high hopes that the designs for the PSIV remake will be a major improvement.

See?<br>GM, you can make as many claims like that as you want, because we'll simply never be able to prove you wrong. But you know what? If you <i>had</i> beaten PSIV 140 times, that would only serve to prove that you have long ago sacrificed your social life. Beating a game many time over doesn't make you a bigger fan of it than anyone else. Hell, I'm sure that someone else here has had a greater connection to PSIV then you have. I've memorized nearly every detail of every picture of every character from the game, thats what I really meant when I said that I'll be the first to complain, I can picture every detail of all the cut scenes and everything else in the game, which is why I said that.<p>It doesn't matter to me should you believe me or not I'm just stating what is true and I do believe I'm the biggest PS4 nut on this board, not for the rest of the series no, PS4 remains my fav. game of all time however the others just don't rank very high for me. And yes I don't have much of a social life, whats your point? If I cared to have one I would get one, oviously I'm talking you and admiting it freely so I don't have a problem with it and neither should you.<p>BTW you say that I'm not a bigger fan becuase I've played it consently, let me ask you this can you continue to play your fav. PS over and over again for years and years beating it as many times as I have without thinking that you know more and are a bigger fan then others? Most people never play a game once they beat it for the first time, others who like games will replay them every so often, then you have people like myself who have played a single game so many times we have memorized every moment, every piece of dialog, every skill to use and when to use it, every way to go though every maze, ect. Have you truly formed a relationship with the characters? Do you have a good grasp on the story, enough to start theorizing? You may say "yes" to both of those questions, but I have not seen a lot of either from you.
