They knew Flowen could survive a battle with Dark Falz. Flowen beat Dark Falz, and Dark Falz went dormant and absorbed the energy holding it. Flowen was thus injured and Osto was TOO HAPPY...<p>

Correct. The Landale bloodline ceased to exist after the passing of Rolf, so there are no circumstances under which the two could possibly be related.

SPOILER! avoid!<p>Episode 3 states otherwise Benoit. Every defeat of Dark Force caused it to store energy and it used the energy from Flowen's mission to destroy pioneer 1.
