There are games where cheating ruin all the fun. Especially stat building games like Diablo, or PSO. The fun, other than going online with othe people, resides in overcoming difficulties, and the joy to find thar rare weapon that allows you to beat enemies butt, when usually was your butt to be kicked <br>Lately I exploited my way in Morrowind, and got most of the stats at 2.000.000.000 (try it out yourself), man, that really ruined the fun. There's no fun on being God, where is the challenge anyway? The same applies to PSO, where's the fun, other than royally piss other people?

The trading thing is helpful for people who's section ID won't permit them to get a certain item. I'm a BLUEFULL Ranger !@#$ and I can't get as many good items by luck as certain section ID. Luckily, my brother is a Redria and has a Yellowboze character too, so if he finda any Ranger weapons, he gives him to me! Vice versa, if I find a good Hunter weapon, I'll give it to him!<p>We make a pretty good team!

Playing legit has the problem if whether a item is truly legit or not. <p>If a friend gives you a weapon, was it legit? If he got it from a friend who got it from a friend, was it legit?<p>What if a monster dies and someone standing in front of it and lo and behold a railgun +6 with 45 percent to dark falls.. Legit or did they get it from a code? ((I've got one just like that before mem card corruption)<p>The only way to be truly legit is to only get items dropped by your monsters and to never take weapons from friends.<p>That is a antisocial way to play PSO and not very good <br>

Are your what are your characters named? Mines Nei, who is a REDRIA Hucaseal, but I bet there's a lot of characters named that. Oh, and if I ever go on (not enough $$$ right now) then you can trust me...I'm 100% legit. It ruins all the fun when people hack. It downplays good, honest leveling up because you can max out your ATP with one item in less then the time it takes to level up very high. But leveling up isn't <i>really</i> the focus of PSO...it's more about strugling and fighting and having fun with battling monsters while making friends around the world. Unfortunately, hacking destroys being able to trust people.

Time for....<p>HUBBS' WORDS o' WISDOM!!!!<p>todays message is... all different kinds of people hackin PSO. SOme do it to piss off others, some to keep up with the rest(like ghost), and those who already turned the game inside-out without cheating and just want to keep it fun. But overall, hackers/cheaters are here to stay and you can't do a thing about it. Either shut up and put up with it and get to know the good hackers and befriend them or don't play at all. They don't care.

Well, why advise us to befriend hackers when most people here are actually legit. I think it shows your skill in playing the game when you play legit. If you want to show off your hacking skills then go ruin some other game that no one plays...not a game that people actually enjoys. The basic rule of thumb about hackers: either they majorly suck at PSO or they have too much time on their hands.
