What's in a name?

Oh, why have you people called yourselves what you have?<p>Is there any deep seated reasons?<p>Me first:<p>The first play I was in I played a character called Forge, and ever since that the entire society has called me Forge.

When I was signing up an account for KGS, I was thinking of a name, and my bro just appeared and wrote Kexmex. So, I always call myself that.

It's my real first name, but without a ^ on the i, because that tends to give weird font formatting problems. So, it's my nickname, but at the same time it isn't.

My name came from a Smashing Pumpkins song called "Soothe". I was trying to use it as a username for a Pumpkins chat room (a long time ago) but it was already taken so I used a "z" instead of an "s". Mine is My created comic characters name, I discovered it while in science class in the 8th grade, we had one of those jumbled word finds, and it was "rate" jumbled into "etra" I loved the way it sounded and its stuck ever since as my name i use for anything i.e. forums, chat rooms, comics, and video games. <p>B.t.w. My avatar is a drawing of etra for those who didn't know :p

Mine is portuguese from Monochromatic. In the first year at college, in 1997, a classmate asked me why I only wear black or grey clothes (now only black... they become grey with time, though). I thought for a second and remembered the old monochromatic monitors, and said I was monochromatic as well. That became my alias from then on, and now even people I don´t know there know that there was once a Monocromatico roaming around that college.<p>I´m also THE Monocromatico. If you do a google search, you will most likely stumble over at least one link related to me in the first result page.

I mostly go by Anza or Ansa as of late (Ansa Mean's virtue in finnish and Anza is basicly a cooler spelling of it) as for gm2987, thats a long story, when I first signed up on a forum I went to I signed up as GameMaster however that name was taken, so I took GameMaster2, later when I was making my email I gamemaster2 was taken, so I added on the last 3 digits of my birth year, 987 ^_^ later I got tired of calling myself a gamemaster and it just became gm2987
