What's in a name?

Mine is my D&D character...took a respelling of the game Archon for PC/NES.

Lets take a look at all my nicknames.<p>HuBBs - my last name. Greatest last name on the planet.<p>HuBBsDoctor - a friend from when I worked at mcdonald just randomly said this and it stuck with me.<p>Fight Club Hubbs - My buddy calls me this cause I loves the mosh pits. I always come to work a little shore or with a black eye after a good mosh pit.

Usually for internet related things I use a nick by which my friends call me or something that has to do with my life. However, back when I first came to the PS boards (three years ago 0_o) I couldn't think of a name that I felt was fitting. So I looked around and spotted a Bible that was sitting on my coffee table (knowing that there are some funky names in there), thumbed through it and came to the Book of Malachi. I repeated it aloud, and liked the sound of it. Lo and behold, I am Malakai.

Skyman is my surname. The Dr is not primarily a token of my hubris, nor am I trying to copy Hubbs. It's a part of my first name, which by sheer concidence fits very well with my surname. It was constructed by the sysops running the Uni's net and I thought it a little more fun than just Skyman (of which there are plenty!), so during the last three years I've been SkymanDr.<br><p>[size=small][Edit by SkymanDr on [TIME]1110395856[/TIME]][/size]

[Siren]

Siren is simply named from when I joined. At the time I was playing Phantasy Star Collection, and Siren was an intriguing villain. I named myself after the Siren cyborg, and the rest is history.

Now I know what you guys are probably thinking, but I did not get my username from the PeaGuy video game series, I swear it. ...pretty much came from one of my favorite movies "Princess Mononoke",Ashitaka was the hero touched by a demon hence he got huge strength but was slowly dieing(just for those who didn't know.....)anywas it was either that or a few others from charas i like..........

I got my name in the 7th grade, playing Unreal tournament. My friend, who also plays Phantasy Star, and being blown up by a very wicked gun (the Redeemer, I believe) said "Dude! If you were more wicked, you could be Lassic's kid" I've called my self Lassic's Chllun (Chllun taken from the world's greatest manga, Excel Saga) ever since.

My name comes from a D&D character I created many years ago. The name is meaningless, but yes, it does rhyme with "urinal"

I originally made this name for Runescape in 1999(hence the 99 part), and I liked Tails from the Sonic the Hedgehog series(I think Sonic Adventure came out), so I have been using it for 6 years now.

well, if I remember correctly, Lamanai is the name of an Ancient Mayan city. I just thought it sounded nice and I figured it was fairly original (well, I haven't found a board yet where there was another one ), so I used it. I have other nicks as well, but I won't go into that here.

i have used several names online... lord xar, from tracy hickman and margaret weis' death gate series, lychiel, a character of my invention, and toee... i needed a new name to register steam with, looking around my computer desk i saw a cd for the pc game, temple of elemental evil and toee was born.<br>

My friend, my sister, and my friend's sister were hanging out in the pool and my friend's sister thought it'd be funny if we each had our names merged with important places. She was like "SMAMMOTH CAVE!" Because my real name is Samantha. So Smammoth just... sounded interesting I guess. XD After a while, Smammoth Cave because Smammoth and then Smammoth became Smammot [my sister kept messing with the keyboard when I was trying to make an email account and I hit enter before I could add the 'h']. And finally, Smammot became Smam. Because we were too lazy to say the whole thing. I'm also called Teh Smamurai because I <3 Samurai swords.<p>The end! XD
