Yeah, I've been getting it everywhere. It reminds me of this army of ants I fought against in a friends house once. Over persistant and never-ending.

Today I got one that pretended to be from PayPal. Always remember that e-mail addresses can be spoofed when sent.<p>The "update account" thingy seemed suspicious to me. When I hovered my mouse over the link in the mail, I saw that the actual destination was a strange IP number address. A spoof, thus.<p>If I remember correctly, PayPal always mentions you by name, and not like "PayPal member", etc.

Not only annoying, but Spam can also be dangerous if you don´t know how to recognize them. Here are a few hints:<p>Not asked e-mails from banks, or websites asking for an update of your accound, or asking you to re-send personal info, e-cards from annonymous friends... these are always spam, and generally it´s someone trying to retrieve your bank or site account info and feck you up afterwards. <p>Banks never send e-mails if you don´t ask it, serious websites never ask you to re-send personal info, and when you run your mouse over the "click here to see the card" link, the URL should never end with .exe.<p>Not to mention that pornography or *insert organ here* enlargement pills/devices/machines always lead to places you will regret.

Heh, spoof mails are amusing to receive on MSN, espcially when you have protections set on your inbox. I've had a few spoofs sent from the "MSN Team" demanding a payment of some sort - and the funny thing is that I don't even use their software! And in addition to that they always go to the junk folder, so they've lost from the first step. Hehe, fools don't realize that only the official MSN Hotmail team can override protections and deliver mail to the inbox at all times.
