Neo you read me like a book. Soundgarden was one of those bands I never really listened to but when Audioslave came on the scene I realised how much of amazing voice Chris Cornell has plus I realised how much their sound has influenced todays bands. soundgarden were one of the first big bands to start messing with real low tunings. kinda the mark of all modern guitar sounds.

I can and will listen to pretty much anything, providing there are thoughtful lyrics. I can't stand screamo, emo or rap. I usually lean towards heavier stuff, however.<p>I am part of a wind symphony at Swift Current Comprehensive High School. As a matter of fact, we go to a music festival tommorrow.

I am a fan of most types of music barring Rap, Country, Screamo and Emo. I can listen to nearly anything. However, for the most part, I'm a fan of Heavy Metal... Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Megadeth (somewhat) among others. I also enjoy listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matthew Good and the Foo Fighters. *maniac laugh* I like bands/singers like David Guetta, Robbie Riviera, Darude, Daft Punk, Audio Bootys, Freemasons, DCT Project, Exhibit A, Plump DJs, Jupiter Ace, NU Frequency, Juliet, LCD Soundsystem, Kylie Minogue, Flower Power, Fischerspooner, Tall Paul, Soul Wax, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Deep Dish, Fatboy Slim, Planet Funk, and Annie. Here's the real kicker: I drummed for a band last year. A rock band, not a techno or trance DJ group. Huzzah!

heavy heavy stuff, AKA black metal, as long as I understand them, and they're really heavy, I like them, I also, ironically, like country, sometimes... but mostly black metal and hard rock... anyone here a fan of system of a down?
