Your first video game...

My first game was some Master System racing game, I believe. Dunno, I was like 4 at the time and only played for a few minutes <p>My first RPG was ShadowRun for the Genesis, though. That game rocked. I also have it to thank for introing me to PSIV, because I got stuck in ShadowRun for a year (damn feathered serpent -_-;), took a break and rented PSIV. <p>-Corey

Holy drek! Shadow Run is wiz, chummer. You've got to love that lingo...<br>I play as a Decker with heavy SMG skills and heavy Comp skills. Phantom is my cohort, and he is pistol-toting Decker with high Electronics. Both Joshua and Phantom are speedy bastards...and we're Yackuza. No magic yet...if I have it at all, it'll be in the last party member only.<p>My first game...? Hm...probably Mario/ Duckhunt. Nintendo was a rare thing in my household.

I was a shaman, with maxed stats all around and mad decker skillz (damn tar pits, though... >_<;;). Yakuza forever, Mafia suxx0rs! <p>-Corey

Yes, the tar pits are annoying...you have to have major Nuyen to replace something like Attack 5 after it's been erased...Degrade helps avoid that, though.<p>The Mafia isn't worth the 10, 000 nuyen. They mostly offer a bunch of useless perks, like free stays at the inn in Penumbra District and no trouble from LoneStar; things I don't need anyways, considering I've always fast-talked LoneStar. The biggest perk is the Crime Store discount, and the Yakuza match that with a discount at Little Chiba's.

The way I see it is: it's pretty much necessary for a Shaman to get be able to jack into the matrix. The sacrifice isn't that much considering that you can purchase a Power Focus.

The first game i ever played was schenerazade(something like that)a rpg for the nes. <br>It was a deacent rpg and I wish they had continued it b/c if they had i would be playing it instaed of PS. Tom e that game made PS1 look BAAAAAD.

I feel awful.... I had almost 100 games for my genesis, but never owned any PS game. I only played it in the sega channel.....<p>who rembers that???

Wow, so many people here have a long gaming history indeed. My first even console was a Mega Drive when they were pretty old and with I recieved Sonic 1, the Japanese version. I didn't realised how cool it was at the time and consequently lost it! But it was covered in hiragana and katakana and looked so cool.<p>I didn't even have a PC until three years ago and now I don't have one again (this is my flatmates.)<p>I think Super Street Fighter II came next, and that cost my parents £65, which is about $130... >_<<p>But I didn't really love games properly until FFVII came out. <3
