However, Benoit, I get the feeling that you're not too interested in politics, so you might not make the distinction between the candidates. I would suggest reading up on the subject... politics seem uninteresting at first, but have an odd quality to them that makes them interesting, and in some cases, a headache.

But by that same logic, if you don't vote, you can't have a say in your government. If someone doesn't want to, then it should be their right.

Have you bothered to actually read the thread, Gipper? You can spoil your ballot or vote blank. In case you don't get what this means, I'll tell you. It's voting for no one and showing your discontent with the choices.

Right. As if it gets recorded that you don't show up in a country like yours. Not showing up can mean more things than disgust. Laziness, for example. By voting blank, you make a clear statement.
