Note my bad grammar I did not mean SC5 sucked I meant "how do you know SC5 sucked?" And Sonic heroes wasn't ported over by a 3rd party company. Oh wait SEGA IS A 3rd PARTY COMPANY!

And then people argue that grammar is not that important...
Sonic Team only worked on Sonic Heroes for the GameCube and the XBox. They asked another company to convert it to the PS2, which it did a poor job at.

Or would you rather ugly and crappy games be made?

Which get made by buying the wrong system, since the PS2's architecture indirectly promotes those.

Both systems have their flaws but neither are better than the other.

That's true, since in the end, games make the system. But as a system by itself, the PS2 was poorly designed. It shouldn't have been supported in the first place. Not to mention the price they dared to ask for such a poor job. Yes, I know it has a DVD player, but it's still primarly a game console, and the high price also came from Sony having chosen a custom chip, which asked a lot of money in the beginning to produce.

They both had crappy games and they both had wonderful games.

Except that the Dreamcast's library consists of 60+% of good games, which can't be said of most other systems. It was so well designed and easy to program that there weren't that many crappy games.

As long as the Shining Tear's storyline is set in a seperate universe and doesn't screw with Camelot's great Vandal/Innovator plot, then I'm looking forward to its release in the West.

I don't have faith in it, since the game is made by another team.

If it was done by a 3rd party then sega's website would definitley say who.
2.)And over half of the 60% of those good games are ports from the PC, PSone and N64.

Is there anyone else that is simply happy that there are some new Shining games coming out? If the game sucks, then it sucks, but no one here can say it's *going* to suck, because no one here can really know that until they actually play the game! I think the game looks good and can't wait to play it.

This has gone way off topic.
BTW I really hope that Shining Tears will be a good game, but only time will tell. About the story, maybe they'll made a good one, linked with the prequels, after all Camelot left many openings, also it can be easyly worked on to enrich it. Or maybe SEGA is gonna resume the old Dark Sol, or Dark Dragon, or Zeon.
About Volg, probably Arc The Lad copied it from SFI, remember Zylo?

[Edit by Goldark on [TIME]1083680346[/TIME]]

I'll buy it! It must be good!
And why should I be happy that a Shining game is coming out from PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ORIGINAL TEAM? Remember Shining Soul? Yuck.

Basing your opinion just on graphics is bad. That's the mentality of casual gamers these days. Are the graphics good? I'll buy it! He didn'y say " Wow, the graphics are awesome. It must be good." He said it looks good, which is very general and probably refering to the whole game.

No, that's not what Zoothe meant...

Exactly. Yes, the graphics look nice, but that doesn't mean anything. Looks are really the only thing we have to judge the game on right now, and good graphics aside, the game has what I would call the "Shining look" which makes me more optimistic that it will be true to the series. If it's not then that sucks but like I said: we won't know until we can play it. More than anything, I'm just happy that it's being made.

And why should I be happy that a Shining game is coming out from PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ORIGINAL TEAM? Remember Shining Soul? Yuck.

A series doesn't always have to be continued by the same team that started it and it's dismissive to assume that because they're not involved the game will suck. Wait and see, that's all you can do. There's no point in being negative.

I guess your right about that Goldark. I forgot about Zylo. I only bothered to pick him up once out of the 20 times i played the game so it would be simple to forget him.

Dreamcast mostly got the second servings of semi popular games for the pc, n64 and PSone.

But I heard that SS2 is a vast improvement over the original Shining Soul, Benoit.

I've heard that as well. I haven't bought the game yet, once I play it, I'll confirm that.

I think there's a reason to be negative when they screwed up Shining Soul by conflicting the story and making an overall sucky game.

So if a developer makes one crappy game, all of their games afterward will be crappy too? Let's just say it's not a good sign, as it proves their knowledge of the universe of the franchise.

Well you just played the SHining Force remake and love it.
So I suggest you play Shining Tears and enjoy it or hate it.
Because complaining will only deny you and then you'll have something else to raise post count about.
Try it like you did the remake.
