WHY gas should be cheaper

What can they do? The gas companies won't give it up untill they decide they have to, and they won't give it up out of the kindness of their hearts, which would be like giving up a winning lottery ticket.

Add about 12-20 cents onto what Noah said for his gas prices and thats about what it is here. If i remember right its 1.98 at the cheapest and i believe,2.31(around their) for the most expensive and this is just regular i don't even remember the plus and premium and i don't want to know. *sigh* -_-

I would like to point out that the current gas prices are nothing compared to the gas shortage prices over 20 years ago! That was like $4 a gallon. $2 a gallon today is still cheaper than what is was 5-6 years ago.

I can't get a car. I have to drive a truck in the places I go. I don't have a car. I have to hawl my tools around so I can fix cars and do other things. Otherwise, I'd get a car and use that instead. Besides, getting a car would not fix the problem.<p>EDIT: Never mind I read your post wrong. But an electric car doesn't go fast at all, and it eats up my electric bill. Plus, if they get damaged, the people inside get hurt more easily.<p>If I COULD get a car, it would be a Toyota Camry. They work almost as well as a common gasoline car, but are way less polutant, and the fuel is cheaper.

We don't use either for cars. But we do have natural gas use for stoves. But I use gasoline for cars only because they have the most power.

Noah, it appears that I made an error. The U.S gallon is actually <b>smaller</b> then the Canadian gallon. In metric...<br>U.S Gallon is approximately 3.8 Litres<br>CAN Gallon is approximately 4.5 Litres<br>So, you are paying around $2.00(U.S) for less gas. However, factoring in exchange, it costs, roughly, the same for gas here as where you live. Just thought I'd correct my error.
