the admins are getting really feeved off and i don't wanna get banned until my site is up again so i can announce it, so i will make a deal. <p>i will not attack pso on the phantasy star board if benoit does not praise pso on the ps board. pro-pso material includes references to pso as being a phantasy star, being in any way equal to or superior to a phantasy star, or any references to plot links between pso and phantasy star. misspellings of ps techniques as pso techniques will also not be taken in a positive light. anti-pso material includes negative references to pso, news of anti-pso direct action, references to pso as not being a phantasy star or misspellings of pso techniques as ps techniques. also, if any other members accidentally post pso-related material on the ps board, we will tell them to put it on the pso board. <p>i think the best thing would be to not mention pso on the phantasy star board at all. i apologise for starting the whole thing off with a joke that was intended to be just a joke for fellow quartetarians to laugh at. <p>pro- or anti-pso user profiles are not included in the truce. also, if someone asks me for an account of something that happened to me during the apocalypse or while i was fighting for my homeland, i will relate the facts of what happened while trying not to provoke an argument with benoit. likewise, i will not interfere with benoit if he relates a personal account of his experiences on ragol if he does not specifically denounce phantasy star.<p>'PSO' includes PSO episodes 1, 2, 3, Blue Burst and PSUniverse.<br>'Phantasy Star' includes Phantasy Star 1, 2, 3 and 4, and all remakes of the games.<p>is that clear? do you agree to the terms?

I think The Exile is confused Benoit. I PMed her telling her she should try to stop fighting with you. Things like that are usually done by an admin, so if thats why she said admins Id say thats why she was confused.<p>If thats not why she said admins, I dont think anyone but her knows why.

is psuniverse really not a pso? sorry 'bout that, i thought it was. some people on gamefaqs were talking about it like it was. probably because it was so obviously not a PS. don't tell me they have two series of non-ps games with phantasy star in the title now. anyway i'll delete it. <p>*exile casts ryuka. there is a strange red glow in her eyes. when she returns, there is a large megid-shaped hole in the side of sega's corporate offices :@*<p>benoit: <p>dern= dezolithian expletive, adopted by motavians. used for minor accidents. <br>feeve= technique from ps4 and motavian expletive slightly stronger than dern, usually used to indicate mushroom clouds caused by inaccurately aimed megid spells.<br>nasak= technique from ps2, also particularly nasty Motavian expletive reserved for talking about shopkeepers, crashed computers and pso.<p>skymandr, i dont know how to categorise psgaiden and adventure. they arent pso, but they arent part of the quartet. they have very little impact on the series anyway, one being set in a town and one on a bankrupt planet on the very edge of the solar system. it doesnt really matter what happens to them.<p>as for your question about theories, it is not true that the presence is balanced on either side of the debate on board. nobody has so far stood up for me in my anti-pso case. besides, allowing pro-pso threads in the ps section will limit my freedom of movement if i'm not alowed to respond to them, because all people will have to do is relate something in a conversation to pso. <p>i keep saying 'admins' because the board i hung around before this one had two admins and about five mods, and they kept recruiting new staff. i keep forgetting this one only has the one. <br>

The Exile, don´t refrain about saying your opinions about PSO or anything else, even if there might be people that can´t get over the fact that there are opinions that may not please them, but are as valid as theirs.<p>And about PS Gaiden, I have found a link that needs to be discussed more to get a more solid base to become a real theory:<p>When Alis fights Dark Falz, if you let her die during the battle and you kill DF afterwards, a message appears, saying tha Nero´s spirit came back to ressurrect her. Nero says something on these lines: You will live again to fight for peace once more", and then vanishes. And so, you get the regular ending sequence.<p>Well, in the PS1-4 series, you never see Alis again taking part on the major fights against evil, so if you take it in consideration, what Nero said would be just bullshit. But there´s PS Gaiden. At some point in this game, you find a weird looking Alis, who was cryopreserved specially to fight against the evil that was threatening the palman colony in Copto. Alis, Alec and Minina fought together to defeat the even more weird looking Kaburon. So Nero´s words finally came true.<p>After that, Alis says she must go back to Algol. She possibly went there and had children, who became Rolf´s direct ancestors.<p>This way, PS Gaiden features an important episode of the Phantasy Star main series, and is way more than a small lame Game Gear RPG with Phantasy Star labeled on it.
