Forgive me if I'm wrong, but when you have Seth, and you are about to fight Dark Force for the third time, what would happen if all your characters were dead besides Seth? Would you just get a gameover? Or would the game glitch out? What happens if anything else like this happens? LOL it's been a while since I've played Phantasy Star IV so please forgive me if this a complete newb question.

Heh, I've wondered that too. Hmm, gives me incentive to go back to PSIV to satisfy my curiousity. Though I'll have to work back to that point, accidentally overwrote my save state when the ROM glitched going into a battle on Rykros and the last backup savestate I had was back at the Air Castle. -_-;;;; Oh man, not looking foward to calculating out the damage for La Shiec again... T_T

You can't get either a gameover or a glitch, since Wren is "immortal", as he recovers hp automatically when walking, and you must leave Soldier's Temple by walking to get the battle against DF3.

^ <br>True. More importantly, though, he always recovers to 1 HP after every battle during which he "died," so you'll always enter that battle with at least one character standing and ready to fight.

In PSIII when Lyle leaves the party right before you fight him:<p>Lyle was the only character in my party still alive. I got to the part where he leaves and shortly after had an encounter. When I selected the... windy key thing button it gave me the lose message. So it didn't glitch up, it just treated the battle as an instant lose.
