Hostile? This MB? This is rather the most docile MB that also stays on topic more than any other I have even seen.<p>Anyway, I was wondering in light of this conversation, what does it take to translate Japanese works like Langrisser? How much time is involved and so forth. I don't know Japanese, so it's a mystery to me.

From what I've read and discussed with people, it's a major undertaking... especially if you're an amature and doing it by yourself on your own time.<p>If I knew how to do it, I'd learn Japanese just to do it. I'd love to be involved in getting more games over here. <p>Have you guys heard of DeJap? They translate games themselves (quite well I might add). They translated Tales of Phantasia for the SNES. Supposedly they were trying to get Namco to allow them to translate the GBA remake but Namco said no because ToP would never sell over here (the US)... what crap!!!

Thanks to DeJap, I can play the oringal Star Ocean and actually get the full experience. ^_^ (Big fan of Star Oceans 2nd Story and Till the End of Time; was introduced to the series through 2nd Story.)

Well, last night I sat down and played a little bit of Lagrisser IV and then Lanrisser V. I must say it seems the system improved a lot at part four and part five was the most user friendly, especially since I had to figure out the commands the hard way.<br><p>[size=small][Edit by zoothe on [TIME]1107300102[/TIME]][/size]
