Changed some stuff and left some out? Like what? Oh, possibly the bit about Teim and Darum's encounter, but I could scarcely remember that.

Now that I feel like it, let me tell the correct version of it.
Note: Rolf noticed that Darum was the man who threatened to kill Nei back when she was still little. Rolf saved her back then.
The party of Rolf, Nei and Rudo find Shure, the scoundrel's hideout. It's full of bio-monsters, of course. They fight their way through, until they see a couple of lifeless bodies of men on the floor. They assume that those are the bodies of the scoundrels, killed by the monsters. One of them has a letter on him. The letter is a letter to Darum, explaining that they (the scoundrels) had kidnapped his daughter Tiem and locked her in Nido Tower. For her release, they ask a large fee of Meseta. So this is why Darum kills people on the bridge if they have no money! In the building they also found two dynamite sticks. Might come in handy later.
The party then travels to the south-east, where the Tower of Nido is. Upon entering, they see a heavy door, locked. So they use one of the dynamite sticks to blow it open. This place, too, is infested with bio-monsters. They fight their way to the top, and at the end of the maze, they find Tiem. Rolf shows her the letter. Tiem then decides to go with you to resolve the matter. But because many people now probably hate Darum, Rolf puts a bag over her head, so that she won't be recognized.
After a long walk, they arrive at the bridge. Tiem tells the party to wait as she approaches Darum. Darum, not recognizing her because of the bag, asks her to give all her money in return for her life. Tiem replies that she won't give money to such a horrible man, upon which Darum gets angry, and kills her with his sword. While falling to the ground, the bag gets off her head, revealing her identity. Darum is shocked, and feels he doesn't deserve to live anymore, and wants to die with her so she doesn't die alone, so he does.
It's just one example of the tragedies of the Algol Solar System...

wow. This is a good story. So meseta is another thing put in PSO, thats cool. I noticed that after PS 1 all the games seemed to increase in length hugely. Is this true?

Pretty much. PSII is much longer, mainly because of the leveling. PSIII has three generations to walk through, and no vehicule or spell to go quicker over the world, making it longer too.
PSIV is not that long compared with the others, but still long enough to be satisfying, though that could be only my opinion. :)

Heheh...I played to the spot that we're at...
The party proceeds across the bridge. Walking across the beutiful country side, they come to theh town of Oputa. Oputa is a lovely town home to many people, Palman (like humans) and Motavians (umm...better just find a screen shot...). The town is also home to Ustvestia, the musician. His house is a place were you can find all the tunes you've listened to throughout the game. He will also teach you Musik (a technique) to guys for 2000 meseta and to girls for 5000 meseta.
So you buy new weapons and armor, and head back to your house to prepare for the long journey ahead. There's a knock at the door! "I'm doctor Amy Sage. I've heard about your quest and I would like to join. I am skilled at healing, but i am not good at combat". <---That dialogue may not be acurate, but it is close enough. You ley her join your party, making four people. This is much more reassuriing!
You and your group head for the BioSystems Lab.
That's all for today. More on BioSystems later.

Look in the PSII section of the site. There are guides, maps and almost anything else you could want. Umm...after you get Rudo, you have to go to the Scoundrels' Hideout, which is North and East of Arima.

Here you go, Neo. Another segment!
Biosystems Lab. The lab in charge of engineering every plant and animal that inhabits Mota. What could make the Mother Brain mess up so bad that the horrible Biohazards were created?
Now overun with Biohazards, Biosystems is a mess of whirring mechinery, destroyed Bio-engineering tubes and most of all, Biohazards (or Biomonsters, if you will). Still, Rolf has a mind to complete his mission...finding the Recorder that will reveal all about what happened.
As you ascend the lab, you fight many Biomonsters along the way until you reach a door near the top that must be opened with dynamite. Passing through it, you find a...large hole? This must be the way into the basement! Without a second thought, you plunge.
When you land, you find yourself in a rather large lab filled with Bio-engineering vats and leaking energy. Navigating through the endless rows of vats, you finally find yourself at an odd looking machine. Extracting the recorder, you quickly Hinas out of the Lab.
Upon arriving in Paseo, you head straight for Central Tower. You are directed to the Governor right away.
"Splendid work____! I will immediately compare the recorder data with the Library data. I have always believed Mother Brain is absolutely right all the time, and that our life is protected by Mother Brain. But under the reign of Mother Brain, we haved turned into weak and lethargic beings. Under the circumstances, we cannot help realizing that fact. You'd better get going to the Library!"
Entering the Library, the clerk immediately informs you.
"Analysis on recorder has been completed. The cause of the accident in the Biosystems lab was an overload of energy poured into the system all at once. As a result, the creature made a rapid evolution. This creature does not fit into teh cycle of nature, thus should not exist. And because this kind of creature was created, the natural cycles went out of order. Please look at this graph. It shows the amount energy consumed in the last couple of years. Let's overlap the graphs of temperatue and rainfall on it. As you see, the energy which was to be used by Climatrol to control temperature and rain fall seems to have flowed into the Biosystems lab. Biohazards could be something that was schemed up by somone. Please find out why the energy leaked from Climatrol. Also, if you are going south, take this with you. The bridge over teh west river can be passed with this. Good luck!"
Now who fits the build of a creation that is a "Biomonster" and has evolved rapidly? A hint: she isn't a "monster". Maybe you've guessed already...but the one in mind would never do that! Or would she?
Heh...that diologue of the Governor (or Commander) and the Librarian was taken from the game, hot of the presses just this afternoon!

Now that I read the librarian's dialogue again, I have another view of the event than when I played it the first time. Interesting...
