Quite nice! Finally, a game that properly utilizes the stylus. What's more, it looks like fun. I'm quite a big fan of Yoshi's Island, so if I ever waste my money on a DS, I'll get it...

Now, this game seems nice and all, but there is something bothering me...
Sure, a touch pad and a stylus seem appealing, but why? From my perspective, a stylus and touch pad does nothing to add to gameplay; perhaps even diluting it. I don't want to play my games with a glorified pen. It makes the whole system awkward and gimmicky.
I'm not sure how many drawing simulators (see Kirby and the Magic Paintbrush) Nintendo can crank out before the system falls into mediocrity. In a desperate reach for innovation, Nintendo has used the unneccessary and overly-complicated means to play games, which makes it a gimmick.

Don't forget the microphone.
The touch-screen allow for more and creative variety in input, basically. Can you imagine drawing a cloud or drag something with buttons? It would be a bit awkward.

You know what would be cool? A fighting game that used a stylus to guide the punches or something equally innovative. The stylus/touch screen has so much potential... I don't want to see it wasted on implementing some form of drawing into every game, nor do I want it wasted on games that don't use it at all.

Unfortunately the game does suck. It has no substance. Its only fun for about 10 minutes.
