Heh, Squenix. :p <br>Is it just me, or is 80% of all Final Fantasy games cutscenes and battles that you can't win/loose?<br>Sadly, most people take Final Fantasy as <i>the</i> RPG. If they had ever played other RPGs, they'd realize that FF is overrated.

Hold it! I love FF! Their stories are always heavily character driven and have complex storylines. Sure there are too many near-impossible boss battles, but nothing (except God, if you believe in him) is without flaw.

I could start a debate about all the bad qualities of Final Fantasy. However, you have a right to an opinion too, and I won't start a debate unless you are prepared for that sort of thing, seeing that you're new and I don't want to seem like an ass.<br>But it'd be wise not to stick up for FF on a Phantasy Star forum.

I like bother FF and PS (PS more of course ) but FF does have its good parts.<p>But this trillogy would be awesome, if its not a hoax, which I really hope its not.<p>Edit: I just took another look at the link, sucks how its on PS2. I didn't mean to bash FF in particular, rather, all of Squenix's recent "failed attempts", such as Unlimited SaGa and Drakengard...<p>Personally, I'm a sucker for ANYTHING set in Ivalice, and the hardcore FF geeks seem to hate that, so... <p>[ffxii]

Heh, I guess I should've mentioned that I do like one FF game...FFTA! A little embarrassing, but the hardcore FF-ers seems to hate it (as Onna said) which is part of the reason I like it. The other reason is that I like a good, solid tactical game.

I love strategy games! *starts to cry* So much so that I play to the popint of making others leave the room...But when IT all hinges on that one thunder attack on Zemekis, or that beautiful Double Assault on Lukav, Shut up Bastion, and let Sadira be the main character, we like her better anyway! I think that Final Fantasy 6 and 7 take the cake for being the best games that the series had to offer. But who am I to say, I really only played 4, 6, 7, half of 8 and all of 10.

*stands up*<br>Well I can assure you that IN my mind both are wonderful series. I am however more attached to PS. For solely personal reasons. One thing is certain. If you were to ask the world which they liked better, a greater number would say FF. Of course that would be due to ignorance. However there aren't many gamers who would pick up an old Gen, or MS, or even download the games due to length and difficulty. Often Ignorance is greater than Fact or Truth. I > F or T < I. But thanks to the power of the Internet we can make this much easier. I< FT= AB. Which is the truth behind which is better. But for now lets load up some games, put on some rock, (Rammstien at this moment) put in Evangelion, and have the multimedia overload begin!!!<p>Piccolo: So let me get this right...
