I'd like to play Sonic CD. Has anyone tried it?

I've tried. Music is very good but I found the gameplay much lamer than Sonic 1 or 2.

I've seen the gameplay (tas: torrent, Youtube, archive.org) of it and graphics look nice.
Well. Maybe I'll try it someday...

I have the PC port. The gameplay is different from usual. That doesn't make it bad, but it can be a bit alienating. The music is great, of course.

I've heard that it has non-linear gameplay because of time warps.

I guess you could call it non-linear in a way. There are four versions of each level: Past, Present, Bad Future and Good Future. You can travel between those by hitting a Past or Future panel and running fast for some time. However, you can't access the Good Future if you don't destroy Robotnik's time machine in the Past.

The order of the levels remains the same, though.

My previos avatar was Hawk-Man. ;)
Anyway. WBIII is a great game. I call it as platform RPG. I have played it trough more than 10 times. Absolytely one of the best games for SMS.

KEGA can upscale and stretch to fit any resolution, the plugins smooth it out and clean it up nicely.

if KEGA was actually able to render in 1440x900... well that would be some serious HQ there 8)

That KEGA sounds so awsome that I actually might install it and run with wine.
