...comes to a close, they come asking for my help. Yet, when I ask to borrow other things, like an unused computer they had that they STILL don't use that I needed for my job and school, books, money or favors of any sort, they just flatly refuse.
So last week, when they left their XBox on my care so I would fix it, I did take a thorough look at it. The main problem is that the main ventilator is so dirty that it needs to be dissassembled, cleaned and repaired to a degree (mechanical wear is a pain, yes), that I stopped after cleaning the motherboard...
"What the hell am I doing?" I asked myself. I left the thing sitting under my table, since I also didn't have a good lubricant for the ventilator nor a decent termal grease for the processor (which needs to be changed as well).
I was in the process of analyzing wether or not it was okay to repair the thing, as I always do it for free.

Yesterday, I needed help with picking up a part I ordered from the electronics shop I buy things at, since I was feeling my allergies kick in. I asked them to go and pick it up.
"No, it's too much to go there."
That was their answer.
Then, today one of them came to ask me "Dude, did you look at the thing?". "No, and I'm not fixing it for you anymore. Take it and go look for someone who will do it for free."
He looked at me, took it and still had the balls to complain!? And worst of all, to our parents!?
What the frak...
The other not so minor thing that annoys me is that I still can't find a good specification sheet for a few, unmarked components I bought. The clerk mixed them all in a single bag... Stupid woman... The other girl they had KNEW that unmarked components MUST NEVER BE MIXED AND THAT THE BAGS MUST BE MARKED!!!
Sorry about the super long rant, but I really needed to get that shit out of my system.

Not a bad price.
I'm looking for 1920x1200 flatscreen monitor for my PC. Problem is that I would like it to have size of at least of 25". Those monitors tend to be lower-quality and if higher the price will jump at least 2x. :|

I want an HDTV, but I don't care much about the size.
Playing PS3 on my SDTV, even while the games look good, I have trouble reading little things. Metal Gear Solid 4 is an extreme case. In the selected weapon icon, you get information of selected weapon (big icon), firing mode (very small), flashlight (on or off), suppressor (remaining uses) and a few other things.
On the radar, I can't read the camouflage index at all.
Bleh...

I'll save money for it... It'll take me a LONG ass time, though.
I've grabbed my brother's HD monitor from his room and used it when he went out of the city a few times. DAMN... The games look freakin' gorgeous. MGS4 looks REALLY awesome and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, with all the pretty colors and stuff, plus the high resolution textures and such, left my mouth wide open. Valkyria Chronicles is probably my favorite. It DOES look like a watercolor painting in motion.
To PeaGuy and Semix: If you manage to find that game either online or in a bargain bin, GET IT.
The story could maybe be better, but the gameplay is where it's at. My top favorite PS3 game, beating MGS4 and unbeaten by Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
