GODS FRAK IT!!!

I totally flunked an exam about digital electronics. I got nervous and forgot something I had studied the other day and understood completely.

A DAMN KARNAUGH MAP!!! IT'S A PIECE OF CAKE TO GET A FILTHY EQUATION, MAP IT AND THEN OBTAIN A SIMPLER EQUATION!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!

The other part I screwed up was about designing a crappy circuit that under certain circumstances gives a 1 and under others gives a 0.

ARRRRGH!! I feel so STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!

And what an opportune moment to recall the process... When I'm handing over my exam!!!

Pointless gore is pointless.

The story was interesting, but the over-the-top gore did nothing for me.

You know... I actually loved Elfen Lied. The story was bloody as hell, yes. Blood here, guts over there, some excessive cruelty here and there... But the core theme of the series was about love and forgiveness... It's a very weird mixed package. The only thing I was not so hot about were the character designs, even if they were highly competent because of their simplicity.

My favorite character was Nana actually, who was an innocent thrown into that ugly world, as opposed to Lucy who was a hardened murderer when her switch flipped. The prize to the scariest character was the last girl to appear, however. That level of malice was just creepy. One moment she was all like "Mommy! Mommy!" Then "You're not my mommy" *SPLORRGKS!!* Blood everywhere. That part really gave me the creeps.

I'd like to read the manga.

A couple weeks ago I registered myself for a job at the book festival in Brussels. Today I still hadn't gotten an answer, so I sent an e-mail message to ask what was up, as they usually answer, even if negative.

10 minutes later the phone rings. It's someone from the book festival. She saw my message, sent me a reply, and asks me a couple questions related to the work times. Everything's looking great, and she's going to send a confirmation message.

15 minutes later I receive 2 new messages, both from the book festival. The second one was to be the confirmation message. However, it says that she couldn't send me a confirmation because she just saw that a couple colleages weren't happy about my functioning the last (and only) time I worked for them. I'm not allowed to work for them ever again.

WTF? I can't think of an instance of unacceptable behaviour that would prevent me from ever working for them again.

This blows. :'(

A while ago, Benoit sent me a PM about getting an email from me with the subject "Beautiful" and an attachment.

I just checked my email account and it was somehow compromised. If any of you get an email from AxilasMalOlientes(at)gmail.com, it's not me. Period. Delete it immediately.

I'll see later the possibility of recovering it, but for the time being, I've made a different email account.

I thought it was Wednesday when I woke up this afternoon and didn't realize until a few minutes ago that it's Tuesday. I hate working nights. Totally throws my whole sense of time off.

I played the demo of the new Castlevania reboot and it felt like playing Godofwarvania. It sucks. Might post a topic on this later.

I love how the fanboys are getting pissy at IGN's score: 7.5., oh noes.

Well, I liked it a lot. The problem with the demo I think, is that it only showed combat, not exploration aspects. A poor selection of contents.
