@Tanith I have had a revelation, thanks to you. I am uninterested in dating. Not because of a lack of confidence, or any of the other BS people spout at people who don't want to date. I'm uninterested because it's economically inefficient. The time and resources spent to attempt to secure a mate are better invested elsewhere. There are 6.8+ billion people on the world, and most of them are the same. So why waste time and money sifting through a pile of sameness when those resources can be used more efficiently in things that will provide true returns and better satisfaction? Maximization of resources!

There you are, Carlos! You have fanfiction to read. Off with you, or we will get the shotgun.

@Tsu Someone who wants a challenge?

Dear journalists -

The sooner you pick up your fucking phones and agree to give me a briefing, the sooner I can stop harassing your phones like a fucking stalker. You think I enjoy calling and pretending to be nice while you dick around and pretend I'm not calling?

Best,
me

Yipe! [I dive behind the couch]
I would've had reviews ready before I crawled in, but my dog somehow grabbed my power cord and literally threw my laptop halfway across the room. I finished performing the surgery to replace my broken LCD last night. [I finish dumping short reviews in every plug thread I can find]

You could always take a can of temporary paint and spray paint their cars with your phone number, then wait for them to call you. Just make sure you use the stuff that washes off with plain water, so you don't have to pay for damages if you get caught.

[I pull out a disposable camera and push the flash button]
I'm warning you! This thing packs like 300 volts!
[A quick flip removes a portion of the camera, exposing soldered electrodes inside]
Grr!
[while swinging the jury-rigged tazer around, I accidentally touch the electrodes, making me yelp and drop the weapon from the resulting shock]

The only thing I have planned this weekend is to get a haircut, continue to train myself with Pro/E Wildfire, and try to find out what was inside my snow cave when it collapsed on Monday. I think I only lost a shovel, but I didn't exactly keep inventory.

I haven't gotten decent sleep this entire week. Also, I'm going to put fanfic writing on hold for a while. I was running too many projects at once, so I narrowed it down to two, which don't include Phantasy Star. I'll still work on the PSII novelization, but in sporadic intervals. I work 10 hour days and my commute adds 3 hours daily, so I can't park my butt in front of the computer the rest of the time and feel like a decent parent or wife. I'll still drop by here every day or so. This isn't a goodbye or anything. I'm not sure what this is. Who knows. I need sleep.

I'm feeling depressed. I've had bad experiences with women in the last two years. Not like I'm dying to get a woman at the moment. It's just annoying that the only female not part of my genetic family and close friends that greets me running and in a good mood when she sees me is... my cat...

For some reason I've been really lonely the last 2 weeks or so now, probably because of the girl who fancies my friend, and he doesn't want her but she doesn't want me. Infact that very friend sent me an extract of their little talks on skype, she revealed she doesn't like me. Not sure in what way though

@Tanith are we still on for our weekly labor? We mostly work when normal people sleep anyway.

@Zucca For chrissakes, it's just Windows. There's nothing wrong with it, everything I've read indicates 7 is a pretty good phone OS. Raging anti-Microsoft feeling only goes so far. Personally, I'm for anything that can take down Apple's piece of crap products or serve as a good alternative.

Guess I'm the only one not feeling the blues yet. I'll be all sorts of emo the 15th, though.

I may be a fool to think as such, but the type of phone I desire isn't some expensive smartphone with a million things to break, but one of these brutes. It's an updated replica of the original, fully functional, and there isn't a chance in heck I would ever accidentally grab someone else's phone, since nobody I know would be caught dead with something so old-school. It's perfect for me except for the price, because I don't know the rate US dollars convert to UK pounds.

I'm tired of all this shit that is going wrong in Belgium.
  • As everyone knows, we have no federal government yet because the parties involved can't even take the time to sit down at a table and talk it out.
  • The NVA political party has good ideas for a reform to fix many things wrong with the current structure. Unfortunately, they've been painted as the big bad guy by the media. So if things don't work out in the end, people won't vote for them but for conservative loonies that will uphold the status quo.
  • Employers and worker unions are currently in talks to unify the two worker statutes that exist in this country: blue-collar workers and domestic workers. The employers have seen an opportunity here and are doing their best to reverse the intent of the worker unions so they get the better end of the deal.
  • Speaking of unions, while they're the good guys in the above scenario, they have their own share of fucking over workers. There are departments that are dumb as fuck who aggravate work situations instead of fixing them. As if that isn't enough, some workers who work at companies as part of a union participate in mob behaviour. And because they're part of the union, you can't just fire them, and the union will fight tooth and nails to reverse any attempt at such a decision, even though they're in the wrong.
  • The biggest companies in our country don't pay taxes. They actually receive money from the taxation agency! This is because years ago our federal government had the bright idea of introducing a tax cut on goods in storage, so they would have more money to hire more people. What really happened is that companies started creating phantom companies, and those phantom companies created more phantom companies, to maximise their tax cuts. They even buy and sell goods between themselves so they have to pay even less taxes!
The worst part is that there's nothing we can do about it because the propaganda machines of the opposing parties work too well.
