Giving a "yuck" to facial (non-ear) piercings as well. Small nose studs look fine on the right individual, usually when it's already a part of their culture. Same goes for facial tattoos and dreadlocks. Deadlocks on Caucasians are nearly always horrible. *set in her ways*

I don't like it. If the lady I like has one or two, then it's her business. But if she wants me to get one, then she can go and sit as I torture her with my long winded explanation of why I just won't get a piercing nor a tattoo.

No, not literally. I was just forced to watch a show I don't like. My cousin came and dumped his youngest daughter on me. Age 12. "Please look after her and show her something she might like. I'll come back for her later this night." is all he said.

So after a few minutes of researching what she MIGHT like, since pornos and mecha are out of the question, I looked online for ANYTHING to sit her through. I finally settled on a magical girl series called Fresh Pretty Cure... And you know what? It made me want to bash my head against a wall...

I dunno about the not showing adult films to kids. I think that's more for the safety of the guardian rather than minor. My mom tells a story, she once went to see the 80s movie "Heavy Metal" in theaters, but since she couldn't find a babysitter, she brought my half-brother in with her (I think he was like 8 or 12 at the time, I wasn't born yet). During one of the starting vignettes, the male protagonist notices he suddenly doesn't have a scrawny nerd's body anymore, and when he looks down at his nude self, he says, "Hmm, big...." Of course, a child's laughter then echoes throughout the cinema, and my mother could only do her best to avoid all the glares burning holes in her head for the rest of the film.

Oh wow. I would never show Heavy Metal to a kid. Ever. The Animation Age Ghetto was in full effect when mum rented it and let me watch it by myself. Freaky.

Sigh. Biting the bullet and working on this asinine self-review form. I want to get it done today, so I can send it to my reviewers by EOD and just get the stupid thing done with. Packed weekend with writing and research ahead of me. ...editing should fit in somewhere too. Just dunno where, though. at least I now have an assistant to work to death alongside my own suffering!

I think that's why my mom waited until my 20th Christmas before she gave me a DVD copy. Parts of it are good, others, not so much, but I liked soundtrack enough that I had to track down an LP-rip (not a CD copy) to download. "You can hedge your bet on a clean Corvette, to get you there right on time..."

We'll see how long it takes before I feel the pain of editing, since I'm bored restless right now....

I'm tired. I went for a job interview and was tested for HOURS... FIVE FRIGGIN' HOURS...

In the end, they don't have open spots for part timers... Or so they say...

It's rather annoying. I finished each of the five tests, the written interview, the spoken interview and the typing skill test easier than the other competitors... But since I refuse to abandon my education, I get the axe...

IDIOTS!! IF YOU HIRE A CAPABLE PART TIMER, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT PART TIMER WILL THEN GO FULL TIME ONCE HE OR SHE GRADUATES!! ESPECIALLY IF THE WORK ENVIRONMENT IS THE ONE HE WANTS!!
