I dunno. I really loved the Breath of Fire series as is. If they make a new installment, I'd squee, but a remake...?

I'm just crazy about the series and I'd love to see anything new for it...provided it's good and they don't mess it up. =P

I would like to see BoF revived, but Capcom are going to stick with cashcows like Resident Evil, etc. Jrpgs are going to struggle in this decade of gaming, and Capcom has never been a pro-rpg company. Not really.

I heard Camelot Software Planning are very interested in developing new BoF titles. Should be good if they get the opportunity.

@Peaguy: I was told that Capcom aren't huge with RPGs, yeah. Prolly why we haven't seen anything since Dragon Quarter came out and flopped hard. =\

I didn't hear that about Camelot gaming, but that IS interesting. I've been told that SE (SquareEnix) was interested in BoF at some point, too. Ahh, if only Capcom would sell their rights. =p But then, the only foreseeable problem I can tell is if whoever handled BoF next would go back to its roots or do a new take altogether. =(

Square published the first bof. I believe they did the second as well. when it was ported to the gba capcom publish them.
