Why you should vote for Myau:

Like Rika (and Nei, and Mieu), Myau is a jack of all trades. He's tough in combat (especially with the SIL.FANG), has decent defense and HP, he has good MP growth, his CURE spell is great from start to finish, his TRAP spell is completely necessary to finish the game, and his other spells, like WALL and HELP, can work if you choose to use them. EXIT is great to have before you get the FLUTE. In practice, Myau is usually used to heal during tough boss fights, but he certainly can attack as well, and do an excellent job at it.

Why you should vote for Raja:

His healing ability is head and shoulders above everyone else in any Phantasy Star game. His RES spells and SAR spells are far more powerful than when others use them (for the same amount of MP). He learns utility healing spells like Anti, Rimpa, and Arows. He is the only one to learn the Regen spell, which revives a party member with full HP. He has the Ataraxia skill, which restores characters' TP points (!). He also has the skills Miracle, which heals everyone's HP (even androids), and St. Fire (which is a very powerful attack, using holy fire). Given the choice of a fifth character at the end of the game, Raja is BY FAR the best choice. He almost makes the fight with Profound Darkness too easy.

Why I voted for Raja:

Myau's more well rounded, but what Raja is good at, he's REALLY good at. Some of his skills make the difficulty level of the game plummet, and the value (for lack of a better word) of his techniques also makes the game a lot easier. He isn't much help in combat, but ST. FIRE is really powerful, and helps immensely in the first Dark Force battle.
