Lashiec summons the Dark Falz and becomes his servant in the japanese instruction book. The English book says this:

But slowly, over time, things began to change. It started
with a new religion which was rumored to have come from
another galaxy. The dark priests of this religion, never seen by any
mortal, promised immortality to all who joined. You would live forever!
King Lassic was getting old. The idea of living forever appealed to him so he became the first to join. Then, he ... changed. It started with the threatening suit of armorthe priests made for him. The armor looked evil and corrpt, and that's how Lassic began to rule his people. Outrageous taxes became a burden on everyone. Business on all three planets shut down and entire towns fell into decay. There was no way for the people to make any money.
As time passed and the people suffered, horible creatures and monsters began to stalk all three worlds. When the dead came back to life, the people feared the worst and guessed the truth. Through black magic, Lassic had become an evil tyrant.
l

The priests were probably the Xe-A-Thouls or related. Dark Force provided Lashiecs Eternal life.
Compendium says this:

AW 341 - La Shiec learns the secret of the Algol Solar System's genesis. Forming a space-time gate, he comes into contact with the sealed-away spirit-life form. As a result, he summons the projected body of the Profound Darkness, Dark Force, and becomes its loyal servant. That same year, a reign of terror begins.

[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1116015142[/TIME]]

Heh, I concede.
Although the idea of Orakio's line of descent abhorring the use of magic - by others, even if they lack the capacity themselves - still stands, and is rather an interesting one with regards to wider Orakian belief on the Alisa III.
Man I love my PSIII fanficcing :D

And according to the japanese PS 3, Orakians live without techniques and magic. It's wonderous to them.
In fact, this quote says it all:

I saw it with my own eyes. Miss Marlena brought some wilted flowers
back to life.

Does someone have the Katakana names for Orakio Sa Ri'ik and La Shiec? I think that Sa Ri'ik is a La Shiec's anagram. Right?
