Thankfully, there are descriptions for every spell in the game, so there isn't a Phantasy Star IV problem. :)

Edit - I do want to let you guys know, after the initial alpha play test through the game, I do also wanna do a beta test when all the bugs are fixed to be sure that nothing else needs to be fixed. So it may take a bit longer than I had hoped, but the beta test should take a lot less time due to me needing Tryphon's help less... hopefully.

I guess Alisa's party never had full-body official artwork released, right?
In the game files, all characters except the 4 of them had full-body arts.

Yes, I know this doesn't have much to do with the translation project but since it's getting some attention as of late...

This looks fantastic, and will be definitely worth playing thru again in this updated state (likely after PSG2 so I dont burn out, haha). Nice work! The only thing that could make the game better now is fixing that awful door sound. :D

I dunno about the artists, but I did translate the credits via the Kanji to Romaji Converter here: http://nihongo.j-talk.com/ and Google Translate. I'll post them in a text file in an edit to this post, I have to edit out the control codes.

No real progress; I made it to Triada and found a pretty big bug that Tryphon has already fixed, but there are more bugs than that to be squashed. I sent Revision 4 of the script his way and I'm anticipating a recompiled ISO anytime he has free time.

Edit - Credits. http://pastebin.com/0pzwWFJK Sometimes Nihongo.J-talk and Gtranslate would give me two names for some devs, so I just picked one in some cases.

The broken atlas label is painful to fix. I think I located where the text is displayed, but not sure about the window below. It seems that the window isn't displayed by usual windows routines but is hardcoded, so it's a little difficult to precisely identify which does what.

I recall that PCSX2 has no functionnal debugger (some versions have, but they don't work on my machine), so I work only by corrupting game code. It's not quick, and quite boring :)

Anime News Network confirms Seiji Kishimoto as the Character Designer/Animation Director of PSg:1, so he's our guy :D
But, as I had suspected since long ago, from the artstyle alone, PSg:2 seems to have gotten another guy to his position...
And it was more noticeable in the 2nd Dark Falz's design, while the first seemed like a very cool revamp of the original :?

And here I thought by finding the character designer's name, I could finally get some clues to the full-body artworks of Alisa & Friends... Yeah, right...
Why the heck didn't they release the goddamn arts?! They did it for PSg:2...

Yeah, I've seen Amia's official status menu art in PS generation:2 and she looks... kind of amateurish. I thought it was fan art at first.

I'm not sure if I've asked this before, has nobody ever seen full-body artworks of Alisa & Friends?
Thanks to the brazilian fans, the contents of both games have been ripped for a nice while and with that the full-body arts of all side-characters found in dungeons have become available to artwork maniacs like me.
But then, the Wonder Quartet were the only ones without a full-body art available... So unfair...

Well... While I don't dislike PSg:2's character arts, I still pretty much prefer PSg:1's over those...

I only have this personally about the game files (PSGEN 1 & 2) : https://mega.nz/#!Ms4jFSxb!xMSwLLlLjKhq ... FdsR5if4SE

Those are the files you can find in the game, in the highest quality available.

The ones I have posted are untouched (not converted to PNG).

But yeah, there are no other files, all the ones which are on the discs are here.

That's why I said I was sad for not having full-body arts of the Main Quartet as there was of those found in dungeons...
For years, I've searching the web for something close to those arts but nothing accomplished so far...

The newly-inserted enemy name font, courtesy of Tryphon. Looks good, no?

Edit -
Here's the old font, requested a little later on the topic by Missagh.

Sure bet :D

Also, can someone remind me what are the names of the Magics in the translation?
