There's been silence on my end because I have yet to hear back from Tryphon, and I can't do any updates alone. I don't blame him for wanting to take a break from PS Gen:1; the bug he has to find and fix is daunting. Kyence has told me that she's slowly picking away at PS Gen:2, but remember she has a busy job and I think she has (a) kid(s)?

Now that the english beta patch is released, I'm not really of any use anymore anyway so I don't think it'll change something, Tryphon and Kyence can handle everything for the final version release, and I'm sure Tryphon can also handle the update of the french version (but if you need some infos/help, you know where to find me, on our forum).

Later.

Sorry for your loss Blaw-

Hi, I searched the thread and didn't find anything but wanted to report that I found a translation error. When you go to the prison the Robotcop says "Guards must present their present their !Prison key."

They did post in the wrong topic, but I do appreciate the report. :) Thank you, stephini. I fixed it, and you'll be able to see the fix in v2.20 of PS Generation:1.

Hi All,

Is there any news about a possible fix for the random drop freeze after combat that happens when playing on a Playstation 2?

I'm still hopeful that we'll be able to play it on real hardware someday.

There will be a final version with the bugfix. It's all up to me, and I promise I'll make it when I'll have some time to devote to it. I'm currently busy with other stuff, among which life stuff (kids, work, etc.) but I'll finish that once and for all. I can't give a date though.

This is awesome news :) And of course there is no rush. I would never expect a firm date for something like this. It's a hobby, you're under no obligation and I'm really grateful that you're at all interested. I know what it's like to try and fit things into a busy schedule. Maybe I'll just have to play PS1 again and check out the new tweaks that I missed the first time around :)

Thank you Tryphon! Whenever you can find the time will be perfect.

Take your time buddy. There is no rush at all. Please PM me when the time comes and give us a day or two heads up so we can get the release announcement in order. Thanks!

Hi I downloaded the ISO file and the suggested emulator from downloads section. When I open the emulator and try to open the file contained in the ISO download it tells me the disc image is corrupted. Is there a step I am missing? I have been looking through for a related post or more information but I can't find it yet if it has been covered already elsewhere.

I got it working! Forgot to get the BIOS file set up. It's very jumpy on my laptop... are there any ways I can make it faster using settings or downloaded good drivers? Or should i look into getting better graphics card for my computer?

I have been playing through and got to the point where Eusis knew both the Zonde and the Glanz techniques and I was confused as to why both were ever included in the game, so i referenced your translation document about how you decided on the names. Your blurb about radiosonde soundings is amazing work! I am a meteorologist by occupation and I can't stress enough how much we need to rely on radiosonde data both actual and computer modeled to forecast the details of storms -- from thunderstorms to the great winter Nor'Easters of Atlantic coast of North America! Whoever did that digging and decided to keep the name showed incredible dedication to accuracy and detail and I'm beyond beyond impressed!
