I'm looking to see if any one has heard about if the next episode will be the "Blue burst" I've heard about at PSO World or if its somthing entirly difrent.

Yes, PSO IV is Phantasy star online blue burst.<p>Some other threads have information about it.<p>

That's not true. PSO Blue Burst is port of PSO Episode I & II to PC. Episode IV has been developed for it later, and is sold separately.

yes, pretty much the same. there was the trial period where everyone on PSOWorld was downloading it and playing it. the extra hotkeys are nice, but ... dunno, i just really love my controller. if i get it i'd have to pony up for a good usb controller.<p>i don't think they'll make blue burst all that expensive, though. it'd be a bit overly optimistic that people would pay $40+ for a chance to experience the same now on PC. what i'm worried about, even with server side save (i believe that's what they are going to use), that there'll still be plenty of punk @$$ whiners !@#$ trying to hack everything that moves... comes with the terrirtory, i guess.

No, PSO Blue Burst and/or Episode IV are not coming out on GameCube.

Frankly I would be utterly astonshed if PSU was out in May/June. I was expecting E3 to explain all with a release in time for X-mas at the soonest and probably well into 2006 until EU territories get a release. They havn't even announced the format yet.

I went to another site and PSU is coming out in June/May! <p>on GC vers. of Ep1-2 , walking can't be immediate( you have to wait 5-10 seconds before running). :@ <p>I thought they said the format was PC...

update, you can still play the japanese PSOBB, and for free, just did it. i'd go through all the details, but it'd be easier for you to check out the stickies in the PSO World>PSO1&2>General forums. dunno if it caps you at lv 25 or something, but i could've sworn i saw a few japanese players above that lvl. otherwise same PSO ep 1&2 goodness, just on a PC. i'd strongly recommend attempting to use a controller, because keyboard just ain't so hot for it.<p>i don't have an AGP card on the computer i downloaded and installed it, so it has... not so hot lag, due to my poor machine struggling with the processing. but everything else works. to play PSO ep4 though you'd have to buy the japanese version - which in that case i'd recommend waiting for the english if it is coming so soon.
