Guard at Lab door: There's a heavy governmental influence around this area. So watch your step around here. Rumor has it that many spies lie in wait here. And you know what else? They say the military and the Principal covertly meet here to talk. So don't speak out too loudly around here!

Man: Good luck collecting 100 million points! You're going to need it!

Woman: I'd have joined you if I was a hunter. I could've been your assistant. Oh, well. Good luck!

Tyrell: Attention all hunters! Thank you for coming here today. Remember the last Famitsu Cup? Well, it doesn't really matter either way. We'll explain everything. The challenge was to earn 100 million points in a VR simulation I created. Unfortunately, no one was able to complete the Famitsu Cup challenge. I've developed a new VR simulator to give you all a second chance. I hope you are ready to take on this new challenge! Irene will give you more details on this challenge. Irene: Yes, sir. Welcome everybody! We are going to ask you to eliminate enemies once again. But this time, the quest will take place in a new simulator. "Maximum Attack 2" is the name of this new simulation. The Principal has refined the simulator to create this new enhancement. The challenge is to get 100 million points. But don't limit yourself there! Try to earn as many points as you can! Need more information?

About the VR simulator.

Irene: The Principal developed this state of the art VR simulator. You will travel on a virtual map. And you will fight against virtual enemies. This map uses modified code from the Lab VR simulator. Gal Da Val Island, which includes the Jungle area, was virtualized as well. Items and EXP have both been virtualized. But you shouldn't notice anything different with this and reality. You won't be able to retrieve items left in the VR simulator, though. So please keep that in mind. Need more information?

About the challenge.

Irene: Try eliminate as many enemies as you can before the finish point. Your finish point is the Central Control Area. Hey! Pay attention! *Ahem* There are rules that you must follow along the way. CAL will provide you with the rules via the communication terminals. The difficulty level will vary depending on which routes you select. So try to find one that you can handle. About the rules.

Irene: One enemy is counted as one point. The time limit is 30 minutes. The timer starts as soon as you register with the computer in the VR sim. The quest won't be considered complete, unless every member of your team has reached the finish point. Once in the VR sim, you cannot return unless you either win or fail. If any member of your team cannot continue, or time expires, you fail. However it may turn out, your effort will not be wasted. All earned points will be accumulated and saved. About the rewards.

Irene: And if you finish the quest in time... You will receive a "Lucky Ticket!" This ticket will allow you to access the next quest - "Singing by the beach" The points you earn will determine the number of tickets you receive. So try to eliminate as many enemies as you can within the time limit! Need more information?

Woman at gate: Hello hunters! What's behind the gate is the Lab's latest VR System. Even the Principal and the military don't have access to this. The exam will start as soon as you are on the VR field. You got that?
