I've bought around 50+ items off ebay, and never been conned once in the sense of sending my money and getting nothing back in return or damaged goods that I wasn't compensated for. Like Benoit said (I'm agreeing with Benoit? O_O;), you simply need to read the seller's history, check the item description and use common sense (i.e., you're not going to get a 1995 RX-7 TT off ebay for $10

).
Sorry for the bad experience though, report it to ebay, they may reimburse you.
-Corey
P.S. - If you used a credit card, as I did, you also can contest the charge with your CC company.
[Edit by PSP on [TIME]1112367256[/TIME]]
