Here you can do some shopping for your characters. All the items available in the weapon shop are good and I recommend you buy all of them. The exception goes to Odin's axe, since his gun allows him to attack all the enemies at the same time, so you decide. In the item shop you can already buy trimates (which recover 150 HP) and the Light Pendant, which is a permanent light for dungeons, without having to buy Searchlights, but it's way too expensive, you probably won't have money for it by now and even if you do, don't spend it on that now. Here in Gothic, you must go to a big house, which will be empty. You'll see a key on the floor. Take it, because it's for opening the prison where Dr. Luveno is being held. Take the opportunity to sell the unnecessary items. Leaving Gothic, go south. There are a lot of dangerous monsters (at least by now) on the way, so be careful. There's a way between the mountains right away, but don't take it. Take the way to the east and you'll find another way with a forest, where the prison is. If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave (as Dr. Luveno's Hideout).
Prison
The prison is quite simple. After entering, a robotcop will appear and ask you if you are the jailer (since you have a key). Answer "yes" (はい) and go straight. Take the Silver Tusk, which is great for Myau (if Alis takes the item, go to her items and give it to him, as I already taught you). Light Cape is great for Lutz too. Just be careful with point number 3, where there are 4000 meseta! Before finding that cash, a Skeleton (actually, four Skeletons) will be waiting for you. You need to defeat them first. You can use Myau's Shield (ワーラ) which raises your defense and makes things easier. Lutz's Wind spell (ヒューン) is very useful. Then you just have to turn to the right to find the treasure chest. Now go to point number 2, where Dr. Luveno is. You'll need to talk thrice to him. On the third time, he will ask you something. Answer "yes" (はい) and he will agree to build a spaceship for your party. Now use Lutz's Exit (スルト) to get out of the prison; with Dr. Luveno released the enemies will be robotcops and they're not easy. If Alis is already at level 16, you can use her Teleport (トルーパ) spell, which allows you to teleport to any city you've already visited. Use it to go back to Gothic (ガシコの村) faster.
Back in Gothic, go to the house where you found the prison key and talk to Dr. Luveno. He will ask you to find his assistant, Nazo. Go to the manhole, turn to the right and open the door to talk to Nazo, who will quickly dispose to go back to the village immediately. Go back to Gothic and talk again to Dr. Luveno. He will charge you 5000 meseta to build the spaceship. Answer "yes" (はい) to give him the money. If you don't have it, you should go kill those Sleketons in the prison to get the 4000 meseta, if you haven't done that! Now, you gotta leave and go back to Dr. Luveno's lab and talk to him until his lines change. I got a little lost here, because I talked to him like twenty times and his lines didn't change. Apparently, talking to Nazo (in the house beside the hospital) and with the townspeople helps to unlock something. When his lines change he will ask you to find a robot called Hapsby, which is the only one who can pilot the spaceship. To do that, we'll need the Polymetryl, which is to disintegrate any material, except Laconia, and Hapsby is made of Laconia. But we'll only find that in Abion, which is far, far away. :D
I advise you to do a little training now. On the beach near Gothic is a good place because there are some good monsters to face (Lutz's Wind spell (ヒューン) works well here). Around level 20 should be ok. Leave Gothic through the exit to the east and take the same way you took to go to the prison but go through the coast, heading west and then north. You'll find a terrain with lava and you'll have to cross it on foot! You will lose some HP while you do that and maybe even face a battle on that terrain. After crossing it, use your characters' magic spells if you think it's necessary (the lava scares more than it hurts) and go the west to find the Bortevo village. If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave.

There's a blue-haired guy in Bortevo who is actually a trader. Answer "yes" (はい) to a question he will ask to do some shopping. But the only useful thing he sells is a Iron Shield for Odin. Here in Bortevo, examine all the trash piles (Hapsby is in one of them, but you'll only find it after getting the Polymetryl) and talk to everyone in town. Then, go to the house beside the shop and talk to Garling (ガーリング). He'll give you a key. If he doesn't, leave his place and talk again to the guy who is a little below his house and then talk to Garling again. He will give you the key to open the cave beside the village. Buy another Searchlight if you don't have one and go to the cave. If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave.
Passageway to Abion Island
There's a Ceramic Sword for Alis in this cave, which is great, be sure to take it. There's also a Rifle for Odin, which is also great, and a chest with 4000 meseta! There's also an information monger at point number 1 that you have to (have to!) visit. He's the guy who sold Myau to you in Paseo at the beginning of the game. He says he tried to sell the Laconian Pot to a guy called Dr. Mad (he must have some problem to interest himself in selling it to someone with that name), who seemed interested in doing a good deal, but didn't pay and locked him up there. He also says that Dr. Mad has been doing what he wants in Abion and the townspeople can't even do trading with the other towns, and the party decides to investigate the case. Alis says he can go back to Paseo peacefully. Leave the cave (not through where you entered!). You'll get out on another island (continent?). Go to the east and go around the coast by the beach to reach Loar village. If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave.

Here in Loar you can buy in the weapon/armor shop a Wild Clothes and a pair of Leather Gloves for Myau and a Plasma Barrier for Lutz. There's also a slicer for Lutz, but I don't think it's worth buying. Take the opportunity to go to the hospital and save the game. There's nothing very useful to do here in Loar unless talking to people, but if you don't know Japanese to read what they say, you don't need to talk to them (if you knew Japanese you'd probably never have searched for this guide anyway). :D
Leave Loar and go north, by the right, and then go west. After a brief walking, you'll find Abion village. If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave.

Check out what there is in the item shop! The Polymetryl! But you can't buy it because the salesmen are too afraid of Dr. Mad. Before going after him, I recommend you keep walking around Abion and training. Dr. Mad is not that easy, and as you must have noticed, the monsters around here are quite strong. So it would be good to level everyone up to level 25. You can use Lutz's Thunder (タンドレ) a lot. When everyone is at level 25, save the game and go to the manhole in the lower-left part of the town. There's a passageway there. But before entering, you must go to a guy who lives in a house in the upper part of the town. If I'm not mistaken, he is the one who tells your party that you can go to Dr. Mad's lab through the manhole. But there's a problem: The guy will only give you the hint about the manhole if you have talked to that guy in the last cave. But you're smart and paid attention when I emphasized you "have to" talk to him, right? :D
If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave.
Passageway to Dr. Mad's House
Look how much money we can find here! Be sure to take it! Beware of the trap in the treasure chests at points 1 and 2. Use the second option in the menu, "Trap", to disarm them and get the money without the chests exploding in your face. Be careful with the monsters because they're quite strong. I recommend you run away from them, because otherwise you'll spend a lot of MP on the monsters and also by healing yourself. You can use Alis' Escape (ラクスタ) to guarantee your fugue, since the monsters usually block your way. At the exit, you'll reach the little "island" in Abion's center, where Dr. Mad's lab is. Before entering, heal everyone with Myau's magic spells (neither Lutz's, nor Alis's) and enter. Notice that here in the remake they do a lot of talking. In the original it was only Bring that kitty here!
:D Dr. Mad will attract Myau with his nuts (no pun intended!) which has a scent he can't resist and you'll have to fight him without Myau in your party. You got it why I told you to heal everyone using him? :D
The battle is a little hard, especially because Dr. Mad keeps poisoning everyone all the time, so don't waste your time using antidotes. Lutz must use Gi-Heal (ギヒール) or trimates (トリメ イト) to heal, and if no one needs it, he must use Gi-Flare (ギフレエリ). Alis and Odin attack normally. If you're at level 25, as I advised, you won't have problems defeating him. After defeating him, you'll recover your Laconian Pot and Myau won't remember what happened. But most important is that now the shops are open again! In order to not have to go through the dungeon again, use Alis' Teleport (トルーパ) to go straight to the other side of Abion (アビオンの村). Now go to the item shop and buy the Polymetryl for 5800 meseta. At the weapon/armor shop there are some good items, like Magic Stick for Lutz and Claymore for Odin. However, I didn't buy the Claymore and I was good without it. Buy the Chain Mail for Alis, which raises her defense. After shopping, use Alis' Teleport (トルーパ) to teleport yourself to Bortevo (バルテボの村). Consult the trash pile in the lower-right part of the town. The Polymetryl will be used automatically and you'll find Hapsby! Then use Teleport (トルーパ) again and go to Gothic (ガシコの村). Take the opportunity to go to the hospital and save your game. Now go talk to Dr. Luveno at his lab. He will say that now everything is ready and you can use the spaceship. Now you can go to the left part of the village and use your spaceship. :D
Whenever you use the spaceship, Hapsby will ask for the destination. The options are Gothic (ガシコ の村), Uzo (ウーゾの村), and Skure (スクレの町). Choose the destination and he will ask to confirm it. Answer "yes" (はい) or "no" (いいえ). Before going anywhere, talk to Dr. Luveno again. He will say that he "forgot to tell you" about his friend Edgar (who knows where you can find the iron claw, a good weapon for Myau) who lives in Uzo on Motavia, so go to the spaceship and choose that option. The interesting thing is that on Motavia you can use Alis' Teleport (トルーパ) to go back to Paseo (首都パセオ) and the guy who sold Myau will be back in his shop! How did he manage to go back if Lassic closed the spaceport? :D If you want, please consult the map available here at PS Cave.
