It all depends on the quality of the install, and the quality of the chip. Don't go scaring people (though I would *really* recommend against installing a PS2 chip yourself unless you're a soldering pro) ;p<p>-Corey

I can't remember exactly, but I remember that they had a deal where you could order the flip top lid and the swap discs together for like $30. I got it like three days after I had placed my order. The only problem (as I stated before) is that mine didn't come with ANY instructions what-so-ever... but I ended up figuring it out on my own. But now with that FAQ site, finding a reputable seller and intructions on installing the darn thing should be a breeze!<p>Good luck
