It should feel good to be in demand! Well, I just reached chapter 5 of your story, and I can say I already find it quite a bit more entertaining than most of my other recent picks. It's worth the effort in my mind, even if you do put off reading a bit.

Wow, really? I'm all blushy now. You're still in the exposition, too. I go from one extreme to another regarding my story. Sometimes I think it's wonderful and I'm all excited to be writing it, and sometimes I start freaking out, thinking my writing is too juvenile and unsophisticated. Right now I'm the latter. I just don't know if it's good enough. Oh well. *gets out world's smallest violin*

Well, MY writing is juvenile and unsophisticated. I have no problem admitting that, and actually serves as an excuse for the way my humor flows. I've read your stuff and I can't classify it like that.

That said, I still haven't read your story. When I tried, I was in the final months and couldn't get time, and as soon as I did, all I did was sleep, eat, play games. If you'd allow me, I'd like to give it a serious read.

Well thank you. :) And your writing is great. I'm not sure I'd call it juvenile or unsophisticated, rather, that you're able to capture humor in a way that flows naturally. You make bawdy topics humorous, and it takes a certain amount of sophisticated writing to pull off that kind of humor effectively. What I'm most impressed with is your ability to sound like a native English speaker in your writing.

I have a lot of experience with this kind of thing in college. Generally, it's perfectly safe to eat anything that is less than 1-50 years beyond expiration (depending on the food-military rations last much longer than opened packages of raw chicken) as long as you test the taste first (almost all natural toxins give off unusual-to-bitter tastes, which the human tongue can detect), but if it isn't safe after all, he is probably following the "I don't feel so good..." protocol at this point. Food poisoning typically starts kicking in about 15 minutes after injestion, and can go full force in 1-6 hours. If all else fails, he could burn toast until the smoke detectors go off, and scarf it down, so the charcoal can neutralize the toxins. If that doesn't work, fire trucks normally travel with medics, just in case.

Haha, I'm still alive. Certain things I don't mess around with - for example, dairy products go right in the trash on (or even a day before, if they smell funky) their expiration date. But mustard? I figured there are so many preservatives and other crap in there, I wasn't taking a big risk.

I should probably replace it though. And the ketchup. And the barbecue sauce. Stupid condiments, being used so slowly...

Yeah, smell and taste are the two indicators of whether something is still good, but I regularly ignored common sense to avoid wasting what I spent my meager savings on. I once tried making a pot of rice, but I screwed it up so royally, that it actually resembled a bread when it left the pot. It was tasty, but I didn't like the texture at all. I've never had condiments go bad, but I use individual packets that I found while digging through some supplies about 7 years ago, so I don't have air exposure like what happens to a neglected bottle.

I'm still screwed with smell...

Normally, I have a decent sense of smell, but when my allergies are in full force, I can't smell even a dead animal while standing on it (It happened to me once). And since when I eat in a hurry, which is most of the time, I rarely do anything different from swallowing, I have gotten the "Oh, shi-- I think I'm gonna *BLAAAARRRRGGGGGLLL*" syndrome a few times.

As of what is in my mind... I listened to a song by Katy Perry... "You're so gay"... It's freaking amusing I can't believe it... This woman has a sense of humor that appeals to me perfectly...

"You're so gay and you don't even like boys, no you don't even like, no you don't even like, no you don't even liiiiiiiiiiiiiike...

I'm just wondering if asking the client if they've done any work at all is likely to get me fired. 'Not too likely' is the conclusion.

I have to admit I also like the other one... She looks like a healthy woman, as opposed to those anorexics I see on TV all the time. That is good

And I've met many Argentinians, and I can say they are not the most annoying ones on the planet... Considering percentages, the most annoying are actually the Spanish in my long experience dealing with them...
