PSGEN2 v3.00 is back in active development. I'm currently beta testing the main patch, and have been in contact with einlanzer (KevinReconAlpha) about incorporating his Rebalance hack when the dialogue is finalized.
Here's what's been addressed so far:
- Spell check, grammar correction, pluralization and context errors fixed. Kyence translated PSGEN2 accurately, per our one-time translator during the development of the publicly-unreleased 2.00, Selphian. This means I didn't have to commit the sin of comparing machine translations and begging for help double-checking the results. Thanks to 1Dragoon for Aeroprism, the new GEN2 translation tools.
- Using Aeroprism, NPC names normalized for the English translation. This was one of v2.00's major issues.
- Again, using Aeroprism, the credits have been revised, another one of v2.00's stumbling blocks. Goldenboy, the main dev of v2.00, translated the French fan localization credits instead of crediting Kyence's team for the English localization. I have approximated Kyence's English credits, but due to constraints had to remove the Beta Testers and Special Thanks. I will be placing these in the readme's credits section instead.
- I did have to beg for help fixing several item names. Thanks to mziab for the armips script!
I'm trying to steadily work on this, but I'm also taking care of life stuff, so I appreciate everyone's patience. See you in the Algol System very soon!
